[Someone is sitting on her bed, a couple of packed bags next to her, staring at a small piece of paper in her hands. That's all, really. But she's actually being still and silent for once, so clearly something is wrong.]

This is Camp. If this is what it wants, this is what's going to happen. You know that's the way it always works around here, so the first thing we have to do is just accept that. Then we can figure out what to do about it.

Obviously. I mean, it might take a little time, but yeah. We need to like... figure out some way to find each other when that happens though.

That's home. Like, Iowa home. I'm going back there when I get out of school. And... if I'm not there Jimmy and my dad will be. Maybe... If they don't remember me, you could help them remember?

Oh, and you should probably give me something of yours from home too if you have any. I might need it to find the place, and it's just two birds with one stone if it's something they might recognize.

Anything? Or do some things work better than others?

I don't know for sure, but if I had to guess, I'd say it'd be best if it was something you've had a long time, have an emotional connection to, have had a lot of physical contact with, etc. etc.

If magic ends up needing to be involved, that kind of stuff usually helps.
